The works to restore the functionality of the bottom outlet of the Val Schener Dam have been completed with the removal of 18,000 m³ of sediment. The works allowed the clearing of the bottom outlet entrance up to a depth of 52 meters. The removed material was flushed downstream of the dam through a pipeline anchored to the vertical wall with a drop of approximately 40 meters.
